Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Changelog.fast ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Changelog.fast is a hosted changelog platform that allows you to create, manage, and publish software changelogs. The Service includes a dashboard, public hosted pages, email subscriber notifications, embeddable widgets, and integrations with third-party services such as GitHub, GitLab, Linear, and Slack.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Plans and Payment

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on the Service, including changelog entries, project data, and subscriber lists. You grant Changelog.fast a limited licence to host, display, and distribute your content solely to operate the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious code, spam, or content that violates third-party rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Abuse API rate limits or attempt to disrupt the Service

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Linear, and Slack. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective platforms' terms. Changelog.fast is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

8. Email Notifications

When you publish a changelog entry, the Service may send email notifications to your project's subscribers on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your subscriber list complies with applicable email and privacy laws.

9. Availability and Support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. Support is provided on a best-effort basis.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Changelog.fast and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
